Place by Path

The workflow for placing auxiliaries by path is as follows:
  • User must go to Home>Auxiliaries>Place By Path.
  • Place Auxiliaries By Path command window will appear.

    • User selects an external cell.

    • User specifies active angles i.e. the rotation angle about global X,Y,Z axis and X,Y,Z scales.
    • User specifies a frequency mode and gives inputs. There are three frequency modes to place external cells.

      • Number; used to specify a number of elements on a giving length calculated between the selected start and end stations.
      • Distance; used to specify a distance between external cells.
      • Both; used to specify a number and a distance between elements.
    • User specifies a horizontal offset and a vertical offset that are used to place cells with an offset from alignment.
    • User specifies a material.
  • User locates tunnel.
  • Auxiliary Selection dialog will be opened.
    • User selects the path that he wants to place cells.

  • User specifies Start Station and End Station on command window or graphically.
